Louis Vuitton Spring Summer 2006 Tupelo GM

If you have been following my blog for quite some time now, you know how much I LVoe featuring pieces from seasons past. The Tupelo GM was released in the Spring Summer of 2006 and was part of Les Extraordinaire Collection. Crafted out of pony hair, the bag is studded with cabochons and beadwork. The straps are crafted out of brass links that has the Monogram on it. I wonder how many pieces were made and were they popular at that time? I guess bovine was a theme for that year which I am not so wild about. I wish I kept the source of these photos. So if you own these, please e-mail me so that I could give credit.

Louis Vuitton to open jewellery boutique in Paris

Louis Vuitton will open its first space dedicated solely to its fine jewellery and watches in Paris next year. The address ~ 23 Place Vendôme , one of the most exclusive places in the world for high jewellery. Spearheaded last year by Lorenz Bäumer with his L’Ame du Voyage Collection for LV, this is an excellent marketing strategy for the Fashion House to become a major player in the world of fine jewels. “The Louis Vuitton store at place Vendôme is as fundamental a step for our jewellery collection as our workshop at Asnières was for our trunks in 1859 or as our workshop in Fiesso d’Artico in Italy was for our shoes in 2000,” says Yves Carcelle, Chairman and CEO of Louis Vuitton Malletier. The boutique is scheduled to open late 2011. I guess a trip to the City of Lights is in order. LVoe it!!!

Oooohhhh...I LVoe a shopping spree!

Marj is inviting all of us to join her and her friend Leslie on their recent shopping trip in Dubai. I see there have been some decisions made that resulted in excellent choices. Let's go to Dubai with them through photos captioned in her own words. LV Dubai Mall can't decide which one don't we love to keep looking, checking, sniffing...sooo LV decided for Melrose Avenue in Amarante Leslie is going for Batignolles Vertical can't wait to reach home Thanks, M for letting me and my LVoe readers experience your LV shopping spree. Louis Vuitton Windows

Cin C just sent me a collection of photos from what I believe is from the Champs-Élysées store. They feature different windows that LV has put up both past and present. I think my favourite is the "Louis Vuitton Balloons". Check out the windows that I have featured in the past by clicking here. I really LVoe the lattice work that serves as backdrop which matches my blog's template. Thanks, C for sending them in. LVoe it!!!

Louis Vuitton Coeur Bracelet in Pink Gold

Seldom do I browse through LV's Fine Jewelry section, but today the Coeur Bracelet caught my eye. Designed with delicate lacework, the heart-shaped piece is further romanticized with the use of pink gold or otherwise known as rose gold. I wish they used leather instead of the cotton bracelet that it has. I still LVoe, LVoe, LVoe it!!! Priced at $1030, it is available at www.louisvuitton.com.

Jennifer Love Hewitt

Gosh, Jennifer is everywhere with her Monogram Totally. LVoe it!!!

Louis Vuitton Monogram Denim Sunray

This is not the first time that Louis Vuitton has translated Runway to Core. The Monogram Denim is revitalized from the Spring Summer 2010 Collection and has now joined the ranks of permanent pieces. I guess this is to replace the previous denim line. Featured here is the smallest of the collection, the Sunray. Trimmed in vache leather, the bleached denim can be slung for those who have small shoulders and it comes in two colours, Bleu and Rouge Fauviste. $1660 at www.louisvuitton.com.

First Weekend of Fall

The official start of Autumn was last Wednesday but we are still enjoying the tail end of Summer. Trees, a fountain, few leaves on the ground and my aubergine Onatah, how could I resist not striking a pose? LVoe it!

Louis Vuitton 100 Legendary Trunks

I am so excited about this latest publication from the House of Vuitton. Slated to be released in October, the book will feature 100 of LV's most notable trunks. A fitting homage to the utility that built this company of what it is today. $125 in boutiques but if you are not in a rush, you can preorder it at Amazon.com for $78.75 with a release date of December 1. Check out the vid!

Louis Vuitton Cabas Rivington GM

Even though I featured a while back the newest addition to the Damier Ebene Collection, I believe I didn't focus on the chic but functional Grande Modele Cabas Rivington. LVooking much like a glammed out Neverfull, the strap and zipper details adds a certain flair to the otherwise commonplace shape. LVoe, LVoe, LVoe it!!! $1300 at www.louisvuitton.com.

My BeLoVed Mona LVisa

If you have been to my place, there would be no doubt in your mind that after Louis Vuitton, the Mona Lisa is the second resident of France that I am in LVoe with judging from the five foot facsimile that overlooks the stairway landing. So, upon seeing Jason Alper's rendering of the Lady with the mystic smile, I could not help but raise my right eyebrow. His show entitled: “Proletarian Drift and the Enfranchisement of the Bourgeoisie in the 21st Century,” will be opening tomorrow at the Guy Hepner Gallery in West Hollywood. The collection comprises of eight oil paintings, all donning Louis Vuitton in one way or another. The artist says: “It’s quite simple. The art world has forgotten about humor and irony. Shouldn’t all of this be fun? I’m simply trying to make people smile when they see my work,” I wonder if he would still be smiling if LV decides to file a suit against him. Who's Paying? Louis Vuitton Core Values Ad with Bono & Ali Hewson

I was riding the Metro today and noticed that a couple of guys in their suits were carrying this week's copy of the Economist. Jeff has a subscription for it but I was never one to read such a periodical until I noticed that the back had the latest Louis Vuitton Core Values Ad. I guess LV cannot only be found in fashion magazines anymore since obviously they are expanding their market base.

Louis Vuitton Affiche Key Ring

Also making my top cutesy list this season is the Affiche Key Ring. Inspired by a turn of the century ad for the London store, this utilitarian piece can also double up as a bag charm. $200 at www.louisvuitton.com.

Louis Vuitton Tambour Monogram

This has got to be the cutest Tambour quartz watch in LV's collection. The petite case is femininely held by petal shaped straps in Monogram Canvas, of course. Truly Louis Vuitton. LVoe it!!! $2510 at www.louisvuitton.com.

Enjoy your B-day Weekend in NYC, Arjay!!!
